Gartner Forecasts Mobile App Store

What is the size of a company are mobile application? In a new report, research firm Gartner expects the global mobile App Store revenues will triple from $ 5.2 billion last year to $ 15 billion in 2011, and continue to grow as the sum astronomical 58 billion by 2014. Like any forecast of a hyper market, you can be sure it will change in six months, and others to get the most speculation.

The revenue projections include the portion retained by Apple stores and other applications.
