For InMobi, Apple And Android Are Eating Up Global Mobile Ad Share

Global mobile ad Inmoba made a big effort to gain share ad text. Back in June, it announced a $ 2 million promotion for Apple and developers of mobile applications for Android serve mobile ads. In October 2010, it served up 5.8 billion ad impressions on smartphones, according to a report just released (embedded below).
This represents 24 percent of global advertising impressions served Inmoba overall. In 90 days it has increased its overall ad impressions worldwide $ 3.7 billion, up 18 percent. The ad impressions were divided 40 percent in the United States and 60 percent globally. InMobi_WDF_Analysis.PDF Inmoba network is very heavy phone function, especially with Nokia and other Symbian OS phones. Nokia is still the largest with a share of 19 percent, but Apple iOS (16 percent) and Android (4.2 percent) combined are greater. And the share of Nokia fell 6.6 points over 90 days, while Apple rose 6.0 points. Now, the iPhone commands the largest share of ad impressions (13 percent) of a single device.

Impressions smartphone simply continued after October. But here's the thing, tells me that Android Inmoba iOS past Apple in the U.S. in December.

Consider all this yet another data point showing how the iPhone and Android are taking place in the world.
